Menu Scout is a content website. We collect very little information about visitors, and we are clear about what we collect and why.

What we collect

When you load a page on Menu Scout, our servers and our analytics provider receive standard request information: your IP address, the user-agent string sent by your browser, the URL you requested, and the URL of the page that referred you (if any). This information is used to keep the site online, prevent abuse, and produce aggregate statistics about which pages are popular. We do not associate this information with your personal identity, and we do not sell it.

Cookies

Menu Scout sets a small number of first-party cookies for session continuity and preference storage. These are not used for tracking across other sites. If we add advertising in the future, third-party advertising networks may set their own cookies, in which case we will update this page accordingly and provide a clear disclosure on every page.

Advertising

Menu Scout reserves space for display advertising. When advertising is enabled, third-party networks (such as Google AdSense) may use cookies and pixels to serve and measure ads. Data we do not collect

We do not collect your name, email, postal address, phone number, location data, or any other personal information unless you choose to send it to us via the contact page. If you do email us, we use that information only to reply to your message.

Children's privacy

Menu Scout is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please email us and we will delete it.

We will update this page when our practices change, with the date of the most recent change noted at the top. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
